The Mulberry Subdivision is a quiet Richmond Hill community offering mostly brick resale homes. The beautiful homes in this subdivision are elegantly landscaped and set back from the road.

Oxford
Designed by Johnny Murphy, Oxford is located at the corner of GA Highway 144 and Spur 144, which allowed for an to create a small commercial district. The balance of the 130-acre parcel of land was designed and developed into five phases, and 117 residential lots were brought onto the market over the next three years. By the late 1980s, Richmond Hill Georgia was gaining momentum as a bedroom communty to Savannah Georgia. Builders priced homes from $115,00 to $150,000. Originally predominately a pine forest with additional landscaping and new varieties of trees provided by owners and builders, Oxford has matured into a very polished community while values increased to the $175,000 to low $200s.

Redbird Creek
Designed by Johnny Murphy in 1986, Redbird Creek started with a 125-acre parcel located on Fort McAllister Road bordering the marshes of Redbird Creek. In 1986, high end interior home sold for $125,000 and marsh view homes over $150,000. To support the pricing, minimum square footage of homes was 2000 square feet. The covenant required strict archetectural controls by a Design Review Committee to insure that a home's construction blended with the natural beauty of the land. Tivoli Marsh
Designed by Johnny Murphy, Tivoli Marsh is located on a high bluff overlooking the Tivoli River. This 50-acre parcel of land was Richmond Hill Land Company's first venture. With elevations exceeding twenty feet along the marsh, a western exposure, and extensive tree coverage of ancient Spanish live oaks, Tivoli Marsh is one of the area most scenic communties. The oriiginal phase contained 47 lots with interior lots selling for less than $12,000 and marsh virew lots selling for under $18,000. All lots were sold within one year and homes were constructed immediately.
